The update for the Season Finale: Episode 9: Exodus has hit the servers. As of this writing, there are 4 days, 7 hours, 17 minutes, and 13 seconds until November 1st 2007. Fall decorations already adorn the hoods, with pumpkins, gourds, and leafy wreaths. A few early notes about the update include a fix for the hood visitor imagers. (they finally update in real time) However, it seems to have introduced a problem with the KI, where it is impossible to operate it’s (clickable) interface while sitting, dancing, raising your hand, or any other animations. (those listed being the most extended, and thereby the most annoying) Oddly, the hood kickables did not entirely reset with this update, instead, only about half of them returned to their original locations.

Ah, back in the cavern for a little fun. Yesterday I went down and visited the GoG and asked what was new. Someone volunteered to assist me in finding Phil Henderson’s Relto. It was very difficult for some reason to find the Bahro Stone linking to the Spy Room which has the Relto Book. Anyway, I linked to Phil’s Relto and to my amazment, I saw a sort of “Skydiver’s Club” scaling Phil’s Relto Mountain. There were about 4 explorers who had the title of “Skydiver” in front of their names. I made a few friends then left to work on some homework brought down from the surface. I went into Sharper’s office and finished it up there and linked out for the day. Don’t worry guys, you’ll be seeing alot more of me over the next few days. Until next time,

Yup! After a long long time on the surface I’m finally gonna attempt a trip down either tuesday or thursday. I’ve been hoping no one thought something happened to me, and I just wanted to write to fill you guys in on my status.  If anyone would like to fill me in on what’s been happening please write a reply back. I’ve been busy on the surface with classes at school and what not. I’ve also been making an attempt at learning more of the D’ni by reading Rand Miller’s book MYST: The book of Ti’ana. “Exodus” (beginning November 1st)

Destruction is coming. Find a way. Make a home.

The words have been repeated many times. Even while the restoration effort begun again and with the release of new Ages, the words were always said. With the resurrection of the D’ni city, the Guilds, the DRC, and new life filling the cavern again, the words continued to hang in the air above the orange waters.

What do they mean?

While many questions have been answered, there are more that remain. What effect will Cate have on the restoration now that the members of the original restoration team have returned? Where will the Bahro war take us? Is the one who originally spoke the words finished with her part in this grand story?

With the release of the new Age of Ahnonay as well as K’veer Island and Myst Island, there will be changes.
